	When a vehicle cannot be started or safely driven due to a sudden and unexpected breakdown, accident, or other covered vehicle disablement, the independent service provider can tow the vehicle back to its facility, no matter how far away, at no charge to the member on allowable service calls¹. If the member chooses to have the vehicle towed to another location (including a AAA Approved Auto Repair facility), the following towing benefits apply: Classic: Towed without charge to the destination of their choice up to five driving miles in any direction from the point of breakdown.² Plus^®: Towed without charge to the destination of their choice up to 100 driving miles in any direction from the point of breakdown.² Premier^®: Towed without charge to the destination of their choice up to 200 driving miles for one service call per household per membership year and up to 100 driving miles for the remaining service calls.² Members are responsible for all costs of service above the stated mileage limits. RV and motorcycle towing benefits are subject to dollar limits, instead of mileage limits. See “RV/Motorcycle Roadside Assistance” below for details. ¹Not all independent service providers perform repairs at their facilities. Member must be present when the vehicle is delivered to a closed repair facility. ²Members receive up to four Roadside Assistance calls or reimbursements per membership year at no charge. 	Plus^® and Premier^® members are entitled, at no cost, to delivery of sufficient fuel to reach the nearest service station. Classic members must pay for the fuel. Diesel must be requested when you call for service and may not always be available.


	When AAA members lock their keys inside their vehicle passenger compartment, an independent service provider will attempt to gain entrance. Cost for this service is covered by the membership. In the event of lost or broken keys, keys locked in the trunk, or other lock-related emergencies, AAA will assist the member in locating a locksmith. AAA will also provide up to $60 for parts and labor when locksmith services are required for Classic members. Plus^®members are provided up to $100 in parts and labor and Premier^® members are provided up to $150 for parts and labor when a locksmith is required. Reimbursement of charges: When it is necessary to pay for service at commercial rates, an itemized receipt listing the member's name, vehicle, and services rendered is required. Bring or mail the original receipt and an explanation of the circumstances to the local AAA branch within 60 days of the date of service. A reimbursement counts as a Roadside Assistance call. Reimbursement is not provided for taxi fares, telephone calls, rental cars, etc. Partial reimbursement: Only partial reimbursement, limited to the amount AAA would have paid an independent contract station to provide the service, will be made when AAA was not called to provide service.


	AAA Battery Service is a mobile battery testing and replacement service. In areas where the service is available, a AAA Battery Service technician will test and assess the vehicle's battery and electrical system. If the vehicle's battery is dead, the independent service provider will jump-start your vehicle if possible. If it cannot be started, towing will be provided under the towing benefit. If the existing battery fails the test and the member would like to have the battery replaced, the technician will install a new battery, if available, that meets or exceeds the vehicle's original specifications. All batteries come with a 72-month limited warranty with a 36-month free replacement period valid in the U.S. and Canada. AAA Battery Service is generally provided by independent contractors and is only available in select areas, during select hours. Batteries and battery warranties are provided by independent suppliers. Batteries are available for most makes and models. Battery prices vary depending on vehicle make and model. Copies of the warranties are available for inspection from the technician at any time upon request.


	If the vehicle's spare tire is inflated and serviceable, it will be installed to replace a flat tire if possible. When a serviceable spare tire is not available or cannot be installed, towing will be provided under the towing benefit.


	When it is safe, minor repairs may be attempted to return the vehicle to a drivable condition. These repairs cannot be guaranteed, and the member should immediately proceed to a repair facility and consult a mechanic. AAA cannot guarantee the availability of repairs. The AAA service representative or the independent service provider can assist in locating a local AAA Approved Auto Repair facility, upon request.


	If your vehicle becomes stuck, one normally equipped service vehicle and one driver will be provided to extricate or winch your vehicle when it can be safely reached from a normally traveled road or established thoroughfare. Extrication of vehicles parked on streets, driveways, parking lots, or alleys which are snowbound or flooded is not covered under AAA membership. Service does not include shoveling snow from around a vehicle or clearing a road or driveway. If special equipment, more than one service vehicle, or more than one person is required, the associated costs may be at your expense. Plus and Premier members will be provided up to two drivers and two service vehicles, if needed, at no additional charge. For extrication or winching of an RV or motorcycle, only members with Plus RV & Motorcycle or Premier RV & Motorcycle will be provided up to two drivers and two service vehicles, if needed, provided that RV/Motorcycle service will be subject to the dollar amount limitations described in Optional RV/Motorcycle Roadside Assistance below.


	Auto rental assistance program: When you need a replacement vehicle due to mechanical breakdown or roadside emergency, AAA will help arrange a rental car and provide special discounted rates from AAA preferred providers. Plus rental benefit: In addition to discounted rates, Plus members receive a complimentary one-car class upgrade from a AAA preferred rental car provider. The upgrade benefit is available when your primary vehicle requires a tow. If the one-car class upgrade is not available, the member will receive the next higher car class, subject to availability. Premier complimentary rental car: If AAA tows your vehicle in your AAA club's local territory, we can arrange a rental car for one day at no charge from a AAA preferred rental car provider. Premier members are entitled to one complimentary one-day standard rental car per year, when the tow is one of four allowable Roadside Assistance calls. Service must be arranged through AAA and provided by a preferred provider. Members have up to 48 hours to request the rental and are responsible for subsequent days' charges, upgrades, vehicle insurance, mileage, fuel charges, fees, and taxes. If a rental from a AAA preferred provider is not available, reimbursement for a one-day rental (up to standard) or taxi service can be requested. Once the one-day complimentary rental or reimbursement is used, Premier members are entitled to discounted daily rates plus a complimentary one car class upgrade. If an upgrade vehicle is not available, members will receive the next higher car class, subject to availability. Submission of original receipt and reimbursement application is required. Normal rental qualifications, age restrictions, and other restrictions apply. Rental cars are subject to availability. Rates subject to change.


	Any of your 4 allowable service calls per membership year may be used for RV/motorcycle tows, extrication and winching and RV tire changes. Up to $500 per RV/motorcycle service call; $1,000 max. per household per membership year. Eligible Vehicles: Motor home, pickup truck with camper, motorcycles licensed for highway use, and travel trailers. Travel trailers are defined as trailers for camping with sleeping accommodations. Members are responsible for all costs of service above stated service call and household limits. Optional RV/Motorcycle Roadside Assistance services are effective 7 days after processing and receipt of full payment due, and do not add extra allowable service calls. The extended benefits will not apply to any vehicle breakdowns that occurred prior to the upgrade benefit being available. Service is generally provided by independent service providers. Optional RV/Motorcycle Roadside Assistance benefits are subject to the provisions of the Member Guide.


	Premier Members can save over $100 with an exclusive price of $45 on a Safelite AutoGlass windshield chip repair. Your savings includes discounted repair fees, waived mobile delivery fees, and waived supply fees. $100+ minimum savings for 1 chip repair in most locations, and for 2 chips in others. Savings may be less at store locations. One discounted repair service per Premier household per membership year. Your Premier benefit includes the repair of up to three chips or cracks in a single visit on one vehicle. Limitations on repair size and location on windshield apply. Service must be scheduled through aaa.com/myaccount. Mobile and retail service available in select areas. For members recently upgrading to Premier, the benefit is effective seven calendar days after the upgrade is processed. Service is not eligible for reimbursement. May not be combined with any other offer. Not valid on insurance claims or commercial fleet services. Offer subject to change without notice. Sales tax charged in certain states.


	Available in Maine only As a AAA member, you can take care of select renewal needs without going to the state office. No appointment is necessary and Saturday hours are available. Transactions at the AAA locations are limited to State Identification Cards and Class C, non-CDL driver’s license renewals and replacements (duplicates) that do not require any changes, such as a name change; a new photograph; or a change in restrictions and/or endorsements on a driver’s license. In addition to presenting existing photo license and other required documentation, please provide one of the following documents at the time of renewal: Certified Copy of Birth Certificate, U.S. Passport, Consular Report of Birth Abroad, Certified Report of Birth or U.S. Passport Card. In addition to the renewal fee and duplicate license fee, all transactions are subject to a BMV $2 transaction fee. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, personal checks, bank checks, money orders and most major credit/debit cards.

	Premier^® members have access to emergency travel/medical assistance from Allianz 24 hours a day, seven days a week during eligible trips worldwide. 	As a Premier member, if you become locked out of your primary residence, you can receive up to $100 in locksmith services to pick or drill the lock to gain access to your home from the outside. Home lockout service is reserved for a Premier member's primary residence only and excludes all other buildings or locked areas. The service provides up to $100 for the cost of re-keying, changing locks or making a new key only when the lock must be drilled to gain entry to the home or if keys are lost or stolen. Any charges in excess of $100, as well as all charges associated with any other residential locksmith services, are at the expense of the Premier member. Home lockout service is limited to one usage per Premier household per membership year. Home lockout service is not transferable to any other person. The Premier member must be present at the time of service. Identification and proof of residence are required. In the case of rental property, approval of the property owner may be required. Service is subject to provider availability, and if AAA cannot provide service, the member will be referred to a commercial locksmith and will be reimbursed for covered service up to $100. Locksmith arrival time is based upon locksmith availability.


	In event of accident or breakdown, when you call for Roadside Assistance, a AAA representative will help you contact family members, locate restaurants, find hotel accommodations and, make rental car or other transportation reservations.

Every membership year, you are allowed up to four (4) free calls per member for Roadside Assistance. After that, a service charge applies. Classic membership benefits include free towing up to five (5) miles from the point of breakdown or unlimited miles back to the facility providing the tow.
